The past few weeks have been too much for me at work, blogging and bloghopping seems to be an alien activity to me these days. Although I still make it a point to regularly check my dashboard but I haven’t had any new entries. Oh well, to get this done and over with (as I am writing this entry while waiting for an email reply); this entry is dedicated to a long time blogging friend – Winston of BatangYagit.com.

You see voting for this year’s Blogger’s Choice Award for the Philippine Blog Awards is now officially open. Batangyagit is one of the nominees so he’s got my vote – pretty straightforward huh? Lols.

Going through the list of nominees, I’ve noticed a lot of friends who have been nominated too. But you see Batangyagit had me suicidal convinced to vote for him on the following reasons:

  1. BatangYagit is his alter-ego; like Batman and Bruce Wayne. Oh well, we had a little chat yesterday and he shared me a little bit of his life. Hmph. You see, when he was a kid he was never allowed to out of the house – in short, he never had any Street Life. Poor kid. Lol.
  2. BatangYagit maintains a lot of sites/blogs. Which I do not really know how the hell he manages his time between studies and his online life. Tsk tsk.
  3. BatangYagit almost made it to the 2008 Google Summer of Code. *sigh*
  4. BatangYagit is a driving force. He helped Cebu-based bloggers convene for the first time.
  5. BatangYagit is a certified Dabawenyo. He even got himself a little controversy when blogged about Cebu. Haha!

Well, these are just few lame reasons why he got my vote for this year’s Bloggers’ Choice Awards. Yeah, Winston’s a friend and he’s gonna kill me if I’m not voting for the Batangyagit. Haha!

I guess this is enough. I just got the email reply I’m waiting for.

Before anything else here are the mechanics to vote for BATANGYAGIT. Haha!

  1. MUST be a Filipino Blogger – of course you need to have a blog. Hehe!
  2. MUST be blogging on Blogger, Wordpress.com, Live Journal, Friendster, Multiply, or on a Self-Hosted Blog – doesn’t matter WHERE – point is, like mentioned in #1, you need to have a blog, alright!
  3. Your blog MUST be established for at least 3 months and MUST have a minimum of 10 posts/entries.
  4. You MUST create a blog entry about your chosen nominee.
  5. SUBMIT your blog entry’s URL here.
