Saturday and Starbucks

My Saturday sucked. Stayed home and browsed the web hoping to find something interesting to blog about but it was a failure. *sigh* So, I ended up sleep-watching Chuck for a few hours and then I received an invite (from a friend) for the Inquirer Lifestyle Series Fashion Show but as far as I remember I already declined the invite through Facebook. Lol.

Saturday afternoon went too boring that I had to broadcast an SMS to all my Starbucks-crazy friends for a night of chitchat over coffee or frap. The invitation to Starbucks was actually a double-edged sword. You see, it’s the time of the year to start collecting stickers. Woot! When I say stickers…it’s the Starbucks Tradition. Starbucks Coffee Planner 2009 is now up for grabs. I’m aiming to have at least 2 planners this year because last year was not a good year for me. I lost my promo card when I only have 2 more stickers to collect before I can redeem the planner. So sad. Now, this year I’d be extra careful. *crossing fingers*

In this year’s Starbucks Tradition we only have to collect 16 stickers and w0ot…we redeem the Starbucks Coffee Planner 2009. Last night I got 2 stickers and that means I only have 14 more to go. This year’s featured beverages are: Dark Cherry Mocha, Toffee Nut Latte, Praline Mocha.

I had Toffee Nut Latte last night and Jouie had the Praline Mocha. It was almost 9pm when we left Starbucks and called it a night. And yeah before I forget I used the Starbucks GCs given by Hazel of Samsung Philippines. Thanks again!

So, if you guys love Starbucks and do not have the time to collect the stickers then let me accompany you – the stickers will be mine. *devil’s laugh*
