July 11, 2009 – The DigitalFilipino Club spearheaded by Ms. Janette Toral once again gathered Cebu based Bloggers, Web enthusiasts, Web developers and designers in a night of Networking, Fellowship and E-Commerce at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel’s Teatro Casino. This is the 2nd time PAGCOR sponsored a DigitalFilipino networking and fellowship event in Cebu City which is geared towards Philippine E-Commerce.
The event started with a very sumptuous buffet dinner, Janette’s welcome remarks and PAGCOR updates, as well as guest/blogger introductions. After which Janette talked about the latest on several online efforts namely: The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2009, The DigitalFilipino Club (online workshops and other e-commerce efforts), and The 2009 Digital Web Awards. Janette Toral and PAGCOR also raffled out several items and souvenirs.
The night wouldn’t have been complete without the ceremonial photo capturing, the moderate beer drinking, and the link exchanges.
On a lighter note, we all had fun meeting and greeting few familiar and famous Cebu web celebrities.
