Like the horse, he needs freedom. He likes the rural areas and the beach, because of the open spaces. He likes long-distance travel. He believes in abundance and the power of positive thinking. Beejing’s real name is Mark Alessandrew Abitona. His mom used to call him “Beejing Bata” when he was about 1 to 6 years old. “Bata” means young child in Filipino. He went to school as early as 5 years old but was only endorsed to the primary school when he turned 7 years old. He graduated his primaries as part top 10 among 100+ students. Later on he went to his secondary school on the same school. It was a high time for Beejing because it was his first time being part of a circle of friends, crushes, infatuation, first real kiss, and the other many firsts. He graduated from his secondary years leaving a trail of mishaps. He then moved to his Tertiary years and later on graduated with BS Information Technology. He was supposed to take up Biology but his fears for blood and the likes made him tore the enrollment forms. He also tried his luck with Accountancy but after nights of unsleep balancing the Balance Sheet he committed never to love numbers again. Two weeks after his graduation he received a letter from of the reputable companies in his hometown asking him to help establish their growing need of an IT expert. But the job contract wasn’t laid until a few months later. He worked 3 months maintaining the database of his province’s Traffic Management Group. Later on he went to cebu and tried working as a Technical Support Representative for one of the fastest growing BPO Companies. This was when BPO Companies grow like mushrooms. The Grave Yard shift was too much for Beejing to bear and decided to tender his resignation and moved back home. By this time, he was given the contract for the IT expert position. During his IT Expert days he traveled frequently and almost covered the entire island of Mindanao. He left the company a little less than a year later after being brutally manhandled by an ex-convict colleague. He filed a case against the culprit and won. He left leaving the company in ruins. He later moved to Cebu and worked for yet another BPO Company and hopped to another BPO Company where he currently work under the not-so satisfying Compensation and Benefit Package. He’s actually ready to pack his bags up and leave but he prefers to stay because of reasons he don’t want to tell. He’s even afraid that his managers might be reading his entries.
