In a world where time moves almost as fast as the speed of light it is important to constantly learn how to show appreciation.
Saying “Thank you” is what I have been constantly learning all these years. I guess, this is a never ending lesson.
You see, I work in the BPO Industry for several years now and saying ‘Thank you’ is a totally scripted response. I used to be taking calls from customers and each time I close the call ‘Thank You’ is always a part of the spiel. Now that I am in the middle management showing appreciation is really important so as to boost someone’s morale. Oh well, I must admit it isn’t easy showing appreciation. I guess nobody would disagree that each one of us feels a little bit a happier when someone says “Thank you” - even on the smallest favors. Small appreciation goes a long way.
In these days where computers and emails are already part of our daily lives, it is still important to say ‘Thank you.’ I admit - I am not that good at saying thank you on emails, you see some consider it as email spamming - which might cost me my job. lol.
Well, I guess no matter what your position is, may it be a Supervisor, Manager and even President it is still important to say “Thank you.”

Ooooh yeah! I am back. Definitely I’m back. Back to the blogosphere. 5 days ago or better yet Wednesday my body clock started to spin off control. To begin with, I went home late Tuesday night, never got a decent sleep, woke up 2am Wednesday for a meeting with my Manager and only to find out after the meeting that I have to go home because all Supervisors and Managers will have a Training with the Clients Wednesday night. Oh well, goodluck body clock. Anyway, Wednesday morning moved so fast I didn’t know its already 12noon. Chitchat in the office pantry made the morning so quick that I had to rush home to prepare for Training. I forced myself to sleep but to no avail and to add - I almost had an argument with my super inconsiderate and noisy housemates. Can you just imagine I was rolling and rolling on my bed trying to go off to Lala-land and they were too busy laughing in front of the freakin’ TV watching Wowowee. Grrrr. I had to shout a couple of times and slam the door before they all shut up. Grrrr. Oh well, as they say “Familiarity breeds contempt” and the better we know people, the more likely we are to find fault on them. *sigh*

Just when I thought I’d have to start from scratch for my blog to work when my brilliant mind found a way to make it work with a simple php code. ha! I know I am brilliant and I’ll be making a separate entry on that.
Oh well. Thursday, October 23, 2008. The DigitalFilipino Club spearheaded by Janette Toral made their presence felt in Cebu city as they held their Cebu City Fellowship night at Teatro Casino of Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City.
The night started with a sumptuous buffet courtesy of The Port Seafood Restaurant. While everyone was busy chewing up their food - haha! we had the chance to introduce ourselves and our blogs. A number of bloggers, SEO Specialists, Web Designers, Web Developers, Forum Members and Moderators, and even Web Site Owners were there to support the event.
Janette presented interesting topics and ideas through the projector of which I had a hard time reading as my eyes are getting old. Haha! She also presented the Top 100 Blogs in Ratified for 2008 of which some of my blogging / plurk / twitter friends were included. Some of which are Winston, Kevin, Helga, McBilly, Victor Villanueva, and Jehz. Oh well, hats off to you guys!
It was funny though some “ghost writers” introduced themselves as such when they’re supposed to be “ghosts” - wahaha! They just defeated their purpose of being “ghosts” Anyway, most of the Cebu Blogger Society Members were there to grace the event - and in their awesome T-Shirt printed with “Blogger ko bai!” with the Cebu Bloggers Society Official URL - www.cebubloggers.com.
The night was still young when I, together with my colleague - Debbie of Jabberedonion.com, had to gracefully exit the fellowship night as ”Duty Calls.” So sad. So sad that I had to leave one of my closest friend Kristine of StyleCebu.com and TheGlamarazzi.com. Sorry Tin…peace!

Friday, October 17, 2008 - Cebu City. Samsung Philippines invited the growing Cebu Bloggers to grace their Samsung Fun Club Day at SM City Cebu Activity Center. The Fun Club Day showcased Samsung’s latest phones (Ooooh. drool) and the launch of their Live website - ph.samsungmobile.com.
Most of the Cebu Bloggers were there to support the event - Thanks to Hazel.
Although, I wasn’t there the entire day but I did make it to the culmination - the Parokya ni Edgar Concert. Mwahahaha!
Samsung Fun Club Day couldn’t be more fun without Parokya ni Edgar. We were lucky enough to be given VIP Seats and again thanks to Hazel. *wink* *wink* The concert was a total rock and roll. The crowd was cheering their hearts out to Parokya ni Edgar’s Chart Toppers.
Oh well, the night was still young when the concert wrapped up and we, the Cebu Bloggers, decided to have a little after-party at The Outpost. Lol. Too bad Ms. Hazel couldn’t make it.
For those who failed to make it to the Samsung Fun Club Day - it is never too late. Check their official website and get the latest from Samsung Mobile.

I just can’t believe another year passed through my eyes. Last year, I was in Bohol celebrating my birthday with my colleagues and today - exactly a year after - I am staring on my office PC reading all the mails at the same time plurking and twittering! LOL.
Anyway, before I go and celebrate my beerday, I mean birthday today let me just pour in 10 things I’ve learned through the years.
-
Never trust anyone except the one above.
-
Friends come in different packages.
-
It’s not the paycheck that matters but the knowledge you learn.
-
Attitude supercedes Altitude.
-
Patience will always and always be a virtue.
-
Love will always fade.
-
Your Family will always be your savior
-
There’s no such thing as secrets.
-
The Greatest BFF is yourself.
-
Life is short so live it as if it’s your last

To All Thank you…
